Rain at last

I think the saying goes, not a great day at the office. I shall say no more, no score today, came home with an aching head and stomach.

Bath time with number 1 son was good, he seems to realise I'm making the words up to a great many of the bath time songs, bit of a 'you sure that's how it goes look', although maybe I'm misreading the look.

Glad it rained, it seems like an age since it last did. I have often wanted to try this photo. The plants will be happy. The other day I encountered a small mouse in the garden, I think possibly the same that ate our crop, well all 1 of it so far, of strawbs. Better a mouse than the large rat I witnessed strolling past the back door last year at 11 one morning.

For some reason this evening, daughter #2 thought our 'evening wrestle' should go to new techniques and she bit me. Damn sore, looks like a nasty mouse bite. Obviously she didn't mean it but sometimes, know her own power she doesn't.

Feeling considerably better, so time to listen to this. Stomach better, optimisim returns.
