Dopey but here!

Dazed and I arrived in Hong Kong this morning after a surprisingly good flight with Air France. Economy seats were - well, economy seats - and we hardly slept, but the food was excellent (for a plane), staff were friendly, good choice of films and the 12 hour flight from Paris flew by only seemed like 11 hours.

Apart from a 3 hour kip we've managed to stay awake until now (midnight) and hope for a good sleep and rapid adjustment to the time difference.

'Must dos' on our first day here: change money at the bank (they offer a good rate for English notes) top up / buy Hong Kong SIM cards for cheap calls home, eat some scrummy Chinese food and take a ride on the Star Ferry. I will worry about work tomorrow (first class is in the evening 7 - 9.30pm).
