Yellow flower

This may be a type of allium - but it's quite small, about 6 inches (15 cm) tall and grows from a bulb about the same size as a snowdrop. It's been an overcast and drizzly weekend - popped out in a relatively dry patch to nab this blip.

I've just finished reading The Girl Who Played with Fire and am looking forward to the 3rd book in Stieg Larsson's trilogy to come out in the UK.

Mrs D cxame over this afternoon and we watched Tropic Thunder as a reward after trudging round the supermarket.
