Entering Nebraska, the tornado state.

We've spent a lot of time driving through an area known as Tornado Alley.

We spent the night in a motel in Lincoln. The welcome guide to the motel had advice about what to do in a tornado. Get to the ground floor and take shelter in the centre of the building. Should you be out driving, get to the nearest building or take shelter in a ditch.

Thankfully we didn't come across anything. Although think of the photo if we had.

A good rest stop was had in Lincoln. Lots of tv, internet and sleep. There wasn't a lot else to do.
