Assynt Visitor Centre

It was a bit brighter today, but quite windy. Kerrsdaddy went off birdwatching for a couple of hours this morning and I managed to read my book while Kerr had a long nap.

After lunch we went to Lochinver. We found an excellent pie shop and had lunch there, as well as stocking up on various pies to take home - diet needs to start soon!!

We then visited the Assynt Visitor Centre at Lochinver. Kerr has been pulling himself up on the furniture all week and was delighted to be set free at the Visitor Centre to climb and cruise, while we read about the local wildlife and watched the CCTV camera of a nearby Heronry.

This photo has made me realise that I need to take Kerr to get his feet measured for some wee shoes - he looks a bit silly out and about with his jacket on but only socks on his feet, especially now he's wanting to stand all the time! Clarks here we come :-)
