primary no more

secondary awaits in august.

it feels right. the p7s are just too big for primary any more and it's time to go.

the hype has been building (fueled partly by the tissue-carrying mothers) and the final day is a pre-teen hormonal whirl of songs, prizes, congas through the playground til we reach the final cheer from within the building as the school bell rings for a final time and the playground is filled with sobbing kids (99% of whom are going to secondary together) hugging each other.

in touch with their feelings or encouraged to over-emote?

blimey, i do sound scottish these days

cb1 just wanted an ice-cream fix.

packed up and enjoyed the warmth of a glasgow summer evening before heading to warm days and cold nights under african skies. surreal, exciting..
