Pyynikki

After a long, productive day at work, I headed to the beach on the shore of Pyhäjärvi (the lake) to meet a friend of mine. It was a beautiful day and we had hours of endless light and sunshine ahead of us. It wasn't planned but a group of the local Couchsurfers turned up to play volleyball, so we joined them!

I didn't really know how to play but quickly learned the basics and it was really nice!! Hoping not to have too many bruises on my arms in the morning...

Some people went to swim in the lake afterwards too, chilly!
