Beauty and the beast

Bit of a day.
Woke feeling a little stiff after the Moonwalk, but not as bad as I had anticipated. My ankle though was very swollen and sore. Off to the docs. I went to be told I had tendonitis and a stress fracture. Plenty of rest prescribed.
Returned home and Nick went to work. As the morning progressed my hay fever got worse and worse, I slept a little and woke to find my eyes were swelling up and my chest was very tight. By the time Nick returned home my right eye had swollen shut and my left seemed to be settling.
Phoned NHS 24 and was told to go to the local hospital where I was given a dose of steroids and had my eyes bathed (OUCH!)

Somehow I think that sunglasses will become my best friend...
