Edinburgh Castle

From Princes Street. I lived in Edinburgh for eight years and often went past the Castle without a glance, like many of the city's residents. Now I live in Norway and only pass the Castle a few times a year so I'm always taken aback by its magnificence - and I always leap out of my skin when the One O'Clock Gun goes.
