There is a tree in my garden (a Robinia, I believe) which looks beautiful at the moment because the leaves are a lovely lime green, and in the sunshine they really glow. However, I think it is a vigorous grower because I can see that it has been lopped recently (and the stumps looked very unsightly until the leaves covered them up), and apparently my neighbour says that all the little leaves in autumn are a right pain. So it may have to go, although I don't know if this will be possible or affordable. I need to investigate my options.

A successful day at Ikea with Paul, although we didn't buy all that we had intended because we weren't sure if it would all fit in his room (or in the car!). We need to reconsider now that we've seen stuff in the flesh. It's all beginning to take shape, though.

I was supposed to be looking at my budget/accounts this evening, but I just don't know where the time has gone and it's now 11pm and I'm far too tired to concentrate. Ah well, I'll try again tomorrow.
