From Across the Pond...

It is here

The opening ceremonies have begun, and the jerseys and vuvuzelas are out in full force. I heard the whole city blowing them from sunrise onward this morning, and by lunch time every mama and gwedini was dancing on the street corners. The vuvuzelas are pretty obnoxious during the games, but outside the stadiums this whole country is genuinely showing their love and excitement for the World Cup. I hope the media will do a good job capturing it, but I will try my best if they don't.
