Large scale........

.....domestic drudgery required today....but not until I've had another cup of tea...or three.

The pic is of an old 'half inch' scale map of Dundee, Perth and Stirling that's been sitting on the kitchen table for weeks (can't remember why I put it there in the first place now, it's probably an age thing). Just out of interest 'half inch to the mile' equates to a scale of 1:126,720, I found it quite comforting to realise I still remembered THAT at least.....but we really didn't make things easy for ourselves pre-decimal did we?

.......don't get me started on 'old money'!
