Morning moment
My ride today was 75km long. We crossed Delhi to reach the King George V Coronation Memorial. It was a large sandstone pillar accompanied by quite a few marble statues of the man along with a few Viceroys.
The ride was a breeze. Except the heat towards the end which felt like a persistent heavy slap upon the left cheek. I was in a mood for some quick pedalling but the disastrous traffic on the roads in the outskirts didn't make it possible. The aftermath of the ride was pleasurable as it always is.
I like returning from faraway places. I don't mean that in the literal sense. But today I don't think I went as far as I wanted to.
