Man is the only animal for whom his own existence

Man is the only animal for whom his own existence is a problem which he has to solve
~Erich Fromm

The Thursday that felt like Friday. After school, and after me WALKING to school as car was in for MOT, Charlotte decided to go to Erin's house for a bit. It actually worked out well as Michael had to go up the town so I went with him for a bit of shopping for the animals.

This is when it dawned on me: The collection of animals is rapidly growing.

First we went looking for another carrier for the rabbits as the current cat carrier is way too small for them. While we looking for that, Michael decided to get a few bits and bobs to create a 'crèche' (his word, not mine) for the tadpoles that are now morphing into frogs. And let's not forget Angel the new fish sister for Rascal and of course, Lissy, who will be moving in with us on Sunday.

So tonight, we let the rabbits run in the garden (something we have never done before) while we (meaning Michael) worked on creating a new habitat for the tadpole/frogs all the while being bombarded by the many birds that are learning to fly under the watchful eye of the moms. None of which have fear of us!
