I am an optimist.

I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.
~Winston Churchill

Long day.

After the school run, I went straight to the doctors. This is the one time of the year I get a bit nervous as I can't bury my head in the sand, although I try like hell to. But the good news was that I had a lot of things going on afterwards so avoided any kind of funk that could have possibly happened.

For example, my lovely husband, who was to be out all day and night, forgot his phone this morning. So I had to trek back to the house after the hospital to get the phone and then drive to the college.

However when I got to his work, I then had to wait until John McCrea (comic book illustrator for DC or some place) was just finishing up his tutorial so Michael asked me to take him to the train station. I didn't mind as I asked him to help out on the Literary Festival I'm looking into organizing for Bridgnorth.

Then I got to see my dear friend Vivi for a coffee. That was a bit intense as she received some bad news which even *I* couldn't find a positive to look at although I eventually changed the mood to a positive.

As it's Wednesday, it was the School run, gymnastic, swimming evening.
