Exercise No. 1-2

I went with a friend to see an exhibit of Dutch impressionist paintings at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek. The Bedford Gallery is housed in the Lesher Center, which includes a marvelous stairway and a couple of theaters. I took lots of photos there and had trouble deciding which would be my blip. I finally decided on this one, which was taken outside. I'm using my point and shoot for this project and concentrating on composition. I could get better depth of field if I used my SLR and a tripod, but I don't think my friend would have enjoyed hanging out while took the necessary time. I'll be back for future blips
