Reybridge

The last time I was at Reybridge I was lucky enough to get a shot of this heron, and it was there again today, playing a game of waiting until I was about to get a good view and then flying down or up the river to a more distant spot.

More obliging was this young mute swan family, nesting on the Bristol Avon close to the bridge, in full view of all the passers by. The cygnets were recently back from a family paddle, apparently, and the other parent was also present but too far out of shot.
