Day 13 - Salt Lake City

My 202nd blip! Nope, still doesn't make up for missing the 200....

10am local time - still tired after last night's surprise gig exertions. Woke with a smile on my face though at the brilliance of how it all worked out. Plus proved that we can do spontaneity given that most of this holiday has been planned with military precision!

Ventured down to Starbucks in the lobby in my shorts and hoodie - pure evil global domineers I know, but a couple of lattes, muffins and yoghurts followed by breakfast in bed hit the spot.

Today will be a quiet day as not much happens in Salt Lake City on a Sunday! Shops only open for 5 hours from midday. It will give us a chance to rest and relax before another long drive tomorrow. Could always go to the Apple Store again but I know I'll come out with something shiny and new!!!

Strange now we're in the second half of our trip, with only 7 nights left. What a great holiday though - so many sights, such contrasts, stayed in some wonderful places that seemed untouched certainly by British tourists, met some great people, met some crazy people, but everyday we've gone to bed grinning.
