Heading north

I saw the remains of the cedar tree this morning, surrounded by scaffolding. There was something that looked like an armoured car parked beside it and a serious looking bloke wearing protective clothing and a chain saw prowling around the scaffolding. When I finally read the little explanatory notice I discovered that it's being turned into a tree sculpture. I didn't get a good shot of it this time, but no doubt Old Bat or I will catch it at some later stage of its development.

So I tried a few shots from the speeding train on the way home. This was just heading up past the southern Lake District towards Tebay.
