Kaybees Bits

Lumberjack

I went to finish taking down the tree at my mother-in-laws thiis morning.

The bit I thought may be a problem by falling and breaking a nice maple came down no problem and didn't so much as bruise a leaf.

Of course it didn't all go so smoothly.

In fact the chainsaw blade had got so blunt recently that it wouldn't look at the heartwood of the main trunk (the bit of timber I reall want fo course).

So it is still standing there........blowing raspberries at me.

Needless to say there is nowhere in the area I can get a new chain at the weekend and I am not skilled enough at sharpening to make an impression.

So there it will stand for the next few days..................blowing raspberries.

Instead I came home and went through a load of old paperwork and shredded it in the cross cut shredder so that it all ended up looking like the woodshavings that should be lying around the stump of that raspberry blowing laburnum
