French Kissing

Had to go the the airport today to pick up the duty free that the Wicked Witch bought and forgot to pick up whe she came back from France......foolish woman

It was then round to the Mother-in-laws and start cutting down a laburnum tree. I get the trunch and usable branches for my woodturning on the conditon that i remove all teh rest to the recycling..............I can manage that.

We then stopped off at friends house to see their grand-daughter. Whilst we were there I got a message to say that my father was not recognising my mother.
With his althzeimers he gets periods when he is convinced that he is in a house the government has made to look exactly like his and that there is a woman there who looks identical to, but is not his wife. Usually a phone call will put him right.
Today he was not forit and he was trying to get out of the house to 'go home' even though he didn't know when home was.
In the end, he just sat and wouldn't speak to Mum until he went to bed.

Meanwhile, my missus was throwing wine down her neck and watching the display of french kissing.....................disgusting.

Then thisevening we dropped of a birthday card to an old friend and sat and had a couple of drinks and caught up on family news.

So a mixed bag of events and emotions today
