Rewards

This is what we drove 5hours and 150 miles for. Sands Beach at Applecross. 10minutes of being in the (freezing) sea and playing cricket on the beach and the journey was completely forgotten.

Words fail me to describe how beautiful it was and what an amazing feeling it was to be there.

After lots of running around, including climbing and running down a giant sand hill at the side of the beach, we headed to dinner and our accommodation for the night at Applecross Inn. The evening was perfectly rounded off with ice-creams and drinks on the beach there watching the sunset and seals in the sea.

It was a trek to get there but worth every back-crippling minute!
