Lawrences of Ireland

A great setting for J's first horse-riding lesson. His friend C has been before but was also his first time on a beach. Needless to say they loved it. A bonus end to our last day as we had almost given up hope of getting hold of the horse folk.

An unexpectedly marvellous 22 degrees saw a lovely day on the beach, included a (very brief) swim in the Atlantic and a game of cricket. Followed by a delicious seafood chowder and a half of Guinness at a beach bar.

Super efficient packing left the evening free to enjoy barbecued steaks and a game of military rummy.
