Democratic Duties
General election today in The Netherlands. I did my duty right before work.
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
edit: explaining a bit more about elections in the Netherlands... First of all, you choose a party. In this election, 19 parties participated. So basically it's a choice between these parties. Once you decide on the party you want your vote to go to, you still can decide which candidate from that party you want to vote for. You can only vote for one candidate.
This all sounds complicated, but most people choose one of the six largest parties and then go for number one on the list.
After the election the available seats in parliament are divided. This is rather complex and described here. Because there are usually several parties with a large number of seats, there is a need to form a coalition government of several parties.
