Last light at Fochteloërveen
Today colleage and fellow blipper Herman invited me for a photography walk in National Park Fochteloërveen. He goes there very often and now I know why. It's a beautiful and very tranquil park. There was only one thing lacking tonight: clouds in the sky to get some interesting images. This one was taken about one hour after sunset. When we walked back to our cars the mist started crawling over the moor and I think it will look great next morning. Can't be there then, unfortunately...
Still, we enjoyed the walk and the tranquility of the place. We didn't really expect to be there for over two hours. It's about 50 minutes driving from home; I didn't return until after midnight. But that's OK; it was worth it!
Note to self: buy bug repellant and put that in photo backpack. Moors like Fochteloërveen are great places for mosquitos...
