... primary school band concert!

We have been blessed with an amazing woman to lead the performing arts program at school and she does truly outstanding work with these kids; they in turn grace us, the captive parental audience, with outstanding performances. I was again quite impressed, not only by how well the show was put together, organized, and performed, but more importantly, by how much the kids were enjoying themselves. It was a joy to watch and to listen, and a good time was had by all!

I had a lovely coffee and did some girly shopping with a new friend today, there is always much satisfaction in making a new connection and we both enjoyed the day. I even managed to cross an item off that darned list of things to do:
