pretty purple flowers ... again

OK, can I use the excuse that it was Monday and even though I had my camera with me the entire day and was all over creation and back, I didn't even take the lens cap off until after dinner? I have no excuse really, preoccupied and a bit lazy, that's all.

In any case, I did manage to be slightly productive in other ways, got 2 hours of French lessons completed more or less successfully (I'll never be fluent, hoping for functional), and somehow convinced the guy at the furniture store that waiting a month for them to deliver the screws for my new desk was a bit on the ridiculous side... apparently forgotten in the initial installation, they have no mechanism for replacing just the screws without ordering a whole new desk... the hardware store would have been easier, but its the principle of the thing. Next week he said, in the end...

There is more of similar boring babble to be had for this Monday, but I'll spare you all and just finish by admitting that this weed grows one foot from my front door and I've no idea what it is. I like the fuzzyies on the stem and the patterns on the flower.
