On the steps at Park Circus

If the sun was shining, this could be Rome or Paris. But it's that other great city of culture, Glasgow - one of my favourite places in the world. So I was quite glad to be working there today, despite the endless drizzle. This is just around the corner from my occasional office, at the edge of the wonderful Kelvingrove park. I had the Bathers' lovely old Sweet Deceit album on my iPod. It's a bit of a love letter to the city's west end and the kind of music that actually sounds better in the rain.
