Blackpool in the rain

Still at friends, had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Whilst sitting in their garden after dinner last night, they said that they could see Blackpool tower in the distance from their front garden, even although it was 25 miles away as the crow flies.

I took a notion for blackpool rock - I remembered taking the boys to a place that made and sold rock about 12 years ago. So I dragged Mr P into Blackpool for an hour to buy a bag of rock, and some hot donuts- hot sugary and greasy- yuk!We even went into one of the tat markets- Mr P got a picture of Laurel and Hardy- enough said.

I've been in Blackpool three times now - twice for less than 2 hours,and the other time was for a 5 day break with mum, and the boys in a B&B - It's always raining and miserable - still full of Glaswegians.
