Beach Combing

The workmen were out again this morning clearing the kelp off the beach.

This maching is like a big grass scarifier............a big rotating comb scooping up the seaweed.

It leaves the beach looking a lot smarter and cleaner............but once again they have failed to remove the stuff right below the sea wall which is the only bit with houses overlooking and it is the houses that get the problems from the kelp flies that breed in the rotting weed.
