The River Wear.

20 minutes from where we live is Durham City, on the River Wear, and that is where we went late this afternoon. We walked through the city, along both banks of the river, and listened to the choir boys rehearsing in the Cathedral. We thought we deserved something to eat and ended up with an Italian meal.
Everyone else was out walking or sitting around in the sun. Here there are large groups of students, enjoying each other's company by the water with the Cathedral in the background.
