a simple box

i went for a walk with my 16 year old son (who is not feeling well). I have always loved postboxes, not sure why, maybe its something to do with a simple utility item carrying such weight in life; letters could take news to anywhere in the world, life's major events would be started with this box, job applications, love letters, wedding invitations, condolences...
Then he said, 'what are you taking a photo of that thing for? it's like photoing the send button on your email' ..... brought me down to earth and into the 21st century :)
