Who am I to disagree?

Early Bumblebee

Making honey while the sun shines is this Early Bumblebee Bombus pratorum - actually my original objective was to photograph these flowers that have sprung up in the middle of the "lawn" while we were away - I've yet to identify them so any ideas are welcome.

Back to the Early Bumblebee - according to The Bumblebee Conservation Trust it's a small bee, often nesting in tit-boxes. Colonies are very short-lived, producing males as early as April. Rarely seen from July onwards. - That's my new bit of knowledge for today.
