Are my kids just weird??

OK. . .I must start off by saying that Gracie is FINE. I don't know what it is about my kids, but they LOVE playing with crutches. We had a pair of crutches that they played with for awhile and I got tired of tripping over them and got rid of them a few years ago. When they went to Doug's parent's house last fall what did they come home with??? ANOTHER set of crutches!! Sometimes they play doctor and use them as a prop but most often Gracie and Josie hobble around the house on them. . .yes. . .up and down stairs too. Might need them for real someday real soon ;)

They are also wishing for a wheelchair. One rainy Sunday morning Gracie and I ran over to Target to pick something up. What did she spy parked on a sidewalk to the side of Target covered with rain, but a wheelchair. She begged and pleaded with me that it was "obviously abandoned" and couldn't we take it home? I did look like it had been out all night but not wanting to take some disabled person's transportation, I told her we'd check and see if it was still there late that afternoon after her Bible study. I also couldn't see how it would fit into the car we had driven that morning. After Bible Study, she insisted we drive by Target; the wheelchair was gone. I had a very disappointed girl who still reminds me about the wheel chair she could have had.
