Sun seeker

My new ivy plant is supposed to prefer the shade but I'm convinced it's seeking out the sunlight. When I gave it a little water this morning, I could have sworn that at least one tendril had crept into a brand new position during the night so it could soak up the sun's rays. Can't say I blame it.
