Set off for my first serious shopping day since I gave up work last year - how restrained is that! It was quite foggy and grey but while I was in one shop the sun came out and stayed out all day, which was lovely. I went to Stockport, where I haven't been in years and was quite surprised to see what a variety of architecture there still is. This building contains the Tourist Information Shop, a story museum and a cafe run by a social enterprise, where I had a great lunch.
