Wonderland

Finally, the day of the Mad Hatter's tea party arrived.

The school was awash with Alices and white rabbits.

This is all part of reading week, and I have to admit I'm kind of pleased at how it has encouraged M with her reading. She got to stay up way past bedtime today, for the simple reason that she wanted to read "just one more" chapter of her book.

The sight of her walking along the hall with the book held up in front of her pleases me greatly.

I so want another bookworm in the family, but the ants in her pants have been winning up till now.


Well we know the bad things human beings can do to ants of course...death by reading!
