On Saturday we went to Tokyo, and Mairi enjoyed 5 hours at Kidzania. What a mental place. Kids check in, then go around learning different professions in stations sponsored by major companies, then get a job to do, then get paid some "KIdzos" money for their efforts, which they can then deposit in their own bank account, complete with real cash card.
Mairi was an ANA cabin attendant (with uniform), a pharmacist, a dancer in a parade, a JTB tour guide (to Taiwan) and a Sony photographer, trained in using a real SLR digital camera. It has to be said, it's a great thing for kids.
They can be firemen, bakers, policemen, mechanics, Coca Cola production line employees, nurses, Mosburger burger flippers, fitness instructors, pilots, you name it.
Mairi put her new found photography skills to use with my Canon the next day for a rare Mummy/Daddy shot. They obviously taught her something!
