In Your Eyes, I Can My Dreams Reflected in Your Ey

I changed Blips for today's date.

I wanted to do my kids. Both Achieved great things on Sunday 30 May, but neither were in the same location, and I didn't have a decent picture of them together. Kids being kids -when they were home, a "posed" shot was just that. Not encapturing what I wanted. - Which was my complete pride in both of them.

The Perth Open, is an International Volleyball Competition with teams playing in in their hundreds in pitches outside, and an "honor league", playing under cover in the sports centre.

Toolibelle was playing for the first time with the Scotland Young Seniors Under 18 Squad, and a fantastic jobs she did too. Since taking up Volleyball she has strived to achieve the level of play of her brother and this has taken her one step closer. I cannot believe how my wee baby, can stand on Court amidst all the noise and pressure, and calmly go through her Service routine, and smash that ball over the court. I would crumble and hit the net every time.

Boy, pulled together his own team pulling in pals from his home team, and mates from Young Seniors, and UK School Games. Such was his team, that they went straight into the Honor League, playing against, USA, Germany, Fife, reaching the Semi-Finals to be knocked out by the Scottish National Squad. A bloody brilliant achievement by anyone's standard. They went on to the play offs and won in a very tight game against the Germans. How proud was I to sit in the bleachers and hear folk ask questions about this unknown team and where they come from; I turned and said, "is my son and some of his mates".

Suffice to say, I am proud of them both beyond belief. They have achieved more than I ever did. And is enough to say, the producing them, was my husband's and my greatest achievement!

PS BOY IS NO 9; TOOLIBELLE IS NO 4
