Yellow Flag Iris

Rained all day today so haven't been to 'the wood'. Dashed out between showers to catch this iris which has opened up today of all days.
I used flash because the light is appalling but the picture illustrates the problem with flash and water droplets..the flash is reflected in them! Once again the background is dark, as on yesterday's blip, but not for the same reason - the flash output has measured exactly how much is needed for the subject and no more so the background isn't lit as well.
