Through the square window..........

......Was a lovely sunset.
Out tonight on the Forth on the first wildlife cruise of the summer. Saw lots of birds including Puffins, terns, fulmars, but highlight was seeing an Eider duck with it's chicks.
I thought I saw the chicks on the back of the parent - they were being carried along by it, but have been online and can't see anything about such behaviour. Lots about one duck acting a a nanny and swimming with groups of 15 to 20 chicks, but nowhere that says they get carried. Perhaps my eyes were deceiving me!

Anyhoo - lovely cruise.
