At the seaside
Robert managed to arrive in Perth just after Mrs L and I had finished clearing the furniture out of our bedroom. I'm off for a weeks climbing and although Mrs L had an invitation to join us she's opted to stay in Perth and redecorate the bedroom.
Robert himself had just returned from four weeks with his wife Jean in their caravan at Clachtoll and our first task was to return to Clachtoll to retrieve the caravan so we bade farewell to Mrs L and headed north.
At Clachtoll Robert did caravany things and caught up with his campsite mates while I went rockpooling armed with the camera. Got some good shots of sea pinks, lichen and the marram grass, but the above Beadlet Sea Anemone Actinia equina although not the best photograph, captures the feel of being at the seaside. I then heard the haunting calls of a couple of red-throated divers that must have flown in while I was snapping away and got some good shots of them when they flew off right by me.
That evening I met up with Roberts neighbours and Jim the campsite owner came over to have a dram as well from his "best customer" especially as he's booked in for a further two weeks in August.
