Autumn

There was a quiet chill in the air this morning from a northernly wind.

Scintilla was the first to mention it. The seasons are changing.

There are colors of fall, orange and red and yellow infiltrating the ground cover. The leaves of the trees are not quite so green and fading to yellow.

We are beginning to look to the mountain tops for termination dust, the frost or snow that first covers the mountain peaks indicating the termination of the warmer season and the onset of winter.

It will happen soon.
