Swingball
Baloo woke me at 5am to tell me that he had had more than enough sleep and that it was time to get up and play... so I obliged. After playing with Baloo for 30min or so, I decided that an early-morning walk sounded like a good plan, so we headed upstairs and dragged Paddington out of bed as well.
We were just in time to see the sun kiss the dark night and turn it into a beautiful, clear Autumn morning. After a lot of running and jumping and sniffing around, we headed home. Arriving home we found Sean in the kitchen, baking muffins! What a splendid surprise:)
Grandma and Grandpa had bought the boys a new toy over the weekend: A piece of rope with a tennis ball attached to it. While I was wolfing down a strawberry muffin, they were playing their own version of swingball... which pretty much meant that Baloo had the one end of the rope in his mouth and Paddington the tennis ball in his. Paddington would then run back and forth between the kitchen and the tv room, with Baloo hanging on for dear life!
And then, after all of that, I left for work. May today be a good one:)
