Homeward Bound

Saamrus Day 3. I took the boys for another hike early this morning: Up into the woods, through the grass plains and finally down to the river (Sean slept late, so he didn't join us). I had to carry Baloo for the last 10 min before we got to the river, as he was really tired.

They had another swim in the river, which seemed to give Baloo his second wind... he raced Paddington back to the unit. We cleaned up, packed the car and arrived home around 1pm.

Baloo is pictured here emerging from the river... right before he gave Paddington a run for his money! He looks so much smaller when all that fluff is wet. We had an incredible weekend of rest, fun walks, sleep and generally just taking a break from the city's rat race.

It's said that life is what happens while we're busy making other plans... so it was really great to get away and just get back to what's really important in life: God, Love and Family (including the furry kind!) :)
