Pride Park

Today I spent some time first in Nottingham and then in Derby. In case you don't believe me, here's Derby County's football ground, Pride Park, complete with the Rams logo as evidence.

So why would I go all the way to Derby, a three and a half hour round trip, just for a few hours? Well, for shopping, pizza and great company. And because the person I spent the afternoon with is giving up a whole long weekend to support me, travel with me, cheer me on, and ultimately look after me in Edinburgh next weekend. It's the least I can do, and it's an absolute pleasure!
