Fallen blossoms..

Having enjoyed a few short weeks of the blossoms on trees on our streets - it has come to this. An inevitable sign of Spring drawing to a close.

Talking to daughter # 2 in New Zealand this morning (in Christchurch, South Island) she is complaining it is getting cold. She will move north, seeking warmer places as the winter moves in. After all, children to be taught are pretty much the same wherever - Thailand, Melbourne, Christchurch in the last 18 months.

We will (one presumes) be moving nowhere though - but hoping instead that the heat comes to us.
