The Echoes ...

That was the live band that played at Hard Rock Cafe in Hyderabad this Thursday. We had planned to go there last week itself when we were told that this week a classic rock band will come in. Though I had sort of not taken it very seriously during the day and was ready to give it a miss, we finally ended up going. And I was even in the wrong garb for a rock show at HRC. It was too late to go shopping too as most of the stores were closed. So I went in the way i was dressed.

What occurred was so totally unexpected. In a seemingly boring city like Hyderabad, one would never expect to have such a fantastic rock show by an Indian band from Mumbai. They sang their hearts out from Pink Floyd, to rock and roll and Gnr, and also their own album named Stitched. The show was fantastic and had me and the audience enamored. It was a fantastic rock show on a very ordinary work day. I am listening to their album even now. Great guitar work and a band of vocalists made Echoes the most fantastic band I have seen live.

All this made for a really memorable evening.
