St Vitus Cathedral
Set within the expansive grounds (bigger than seven football pitches) of Prague Castle, the Gothic-looking St Vitus Cathedral spires dominate the city skyline. A beautiful art nouveau stained-glass window, designed by Mucha, is the highlight of this impressive building.
As you can see, a glimmer of blue sky for part of today, which enhanced the city bus tour and the getting-to-know-the-city walkabout. Wandered our way to a cafe on the Old Town Square to watch the world go by - assisted, of course, by a few more Pilsners. Pilsner, by the way and according to local folklore, is cheaper to buy than water. I believed it, anyway...
