Wassat?

For once, I had a blip 'in the can' for today, but took a detour from using that to try something a bit more interesting.

So I popped the 3x macro tube on to the nifty-fifty lens and had a play.
The resultant pic was as you see above.

So I'm inviting comments as to what this is.
